I used to be a student and lived in Camberwell for 3 years. There are several places in Camberwell for late night alcohol buying. You should try the off licence opposite Pesh flowers on Denmark Hill - even though the shutters are down they will serve you alcohol after 11. Other places include the 24 hour costcutter on East Dulwich Road (a bit far away but they will always serve you) and actually pretty much any store that is open after 11.
