JJ's is reasonable value, but not great for vegetarians. It's okay, I guess.

Sounds like much better for meat eaters.

agreed. JJ's is my take away preference. Peter reckoned it was 'overspiced' to me that means he was being a wimp.

Which is ok.. but be honest about it and they will reduce the spiciness to your specification. Great client service.

Thanks for the update James. It does seem like that stretch of Camberwell Road does have a large number of churches - something that this blogger has also noticed: http://krutainis.com/tag/street/

How many places of worship would that make on the west side of Camberwell Road? There is the Methodist Church opposite Burgess Park at the northern end of the road. The new Mosque on the junction with Wyndham Road, and several smaller churches by Camberwell Green. No one would object to any of these in isolation, but it is inappropriate for places of worship to dominate the whole street. It doesn't serve the requirements of the community, and it doesn't reflect the ambitions for Camberwell in the Southwark Plan which are focused on supporting local businesses and promoting the cultural and artistic reputation of Camberwell.

The former ABC cinema had over 2000 seats. A Church of that size would be completely out of proportion for the area. It would only serve the tiny minority of the population who are members of that particular Church, and many of these would be travelling in from other parts of London adding to the congestion on local roads.

We need to work hard to oppose this change of use planning application to ensure that Camberwell continues to thrive as a rounded community with retail outlets and cultural facilities as well as religious organisations.

It is with great joy that I introduce our new neighbours:
http://www.rccg.org/

That means they have to put in an application for change of use and we can campaign to stop it.
